Lincoln Cathedral Peregrines Booklet

This is a 20 page A5 size booklet that tells you all about the peregrine falcons that make their home on the main tower of Lincoln Cathedral.

With a thick, full colour glossy cover and sumptuously illustrated with my photographs of these magnificent birds, this booklet makes both a great souvenir and an invaluable guide for anyone who wants to spot the World's fastest birds at Lincoln Cathedral.

Updated in Summer 2023, the first part of the book covers the history of the birds at Lincoln.  The book then takes you on a walk around the outside of the magnificent cathedral showing you where you are most likely to see the birds high up on the structure.

The booklet is written and illustrated by Bruce Hargrave who - as well as being leader of the volunteer guides for the cathedral central tower - is also the guy who installed the peregrine cameras that document the lives of the birds.  Proceeds from the sale of the booklet help with the costs of live streaming the camera footage during the nesting season.

The livestream is active from February each year up until the time when the chicks have left the nest.  However, archive footage can be seen all year round on the Lincoln Peregrines YouTube channel.
